CLC SPECIALTY CAMPS

NEW! SURVIVOR CAMP

Camp, build, and learn how to survive in the outdoors. Your child will build forts, cook on a fire, build a shelter, learn to identify various trees, plants, and flowers, and how to prepare for a long backpacking trip in the Maine woods. 

ART, CREATE & MORE

Express your creativity in this new combined camp. Your child will paint, draw, sketch, build, and engage with new friends in the community. Campers will work with nature to create various masterpieces and use clay, glass work, paint, oil pastels, and other art forms.

AQUA ADVENTURE

Make a splash exploring Maine’s beautiful coastline and other various swimming locations. You will travel to beaches such as Popham, Reid State Park, Pemaquid, and other swimming areas. At the end of the week, there will be a special trip to an exciting, surprise location. Life jackets are required to be brought but not required to be worn unless directed by staff.

DISCOVERY ADVENTURE

Visit, explore and discover various Maine locations such as lighthouses, state parks, local preserves, and museums. You will engage in various exciting activities such as metal detecting, geocaching, swimming, and participate in scavenger hunts around our community. Life jackets are required to be brought on swim days but not required to be worn unless directed by staff.  

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

Explore, create, and embark on an adventure during our first ever outdoor adventure camp. Your child will visit local preserves, hike, swim, kayak, build nature houses, and learn outdoor survival skills. Life jackets are required to bring but not required to wear unless directed to by staff. 

WIZARDING 

Alohomora! Wizarding World is back for another summer! Your child will leave their muggle lives behind them and enter the Wizarding World. They will learn spells, potions, the game of Quidditch while participating in STEAM based activities and engage with the community. Grab your wands, robes, and spell books and join us for some wizarding fun!

EMERGENCY RESPONDERS

Engage with local Emergency Responders and learn what it means to be a first responder. Your child will learn what it takes to work in all different first responder fields, basic fire prevention skills, how to keep oneself safe in an emergency, how to help during an emergency in an age-appropriate way, use various tools, and explore different equipment.
