MEET THE TRAINERS

Caroline Earle Ivens

Caroline has been teaching, training, and coaching in the fitness and athletics industry since 2009. Caroline moved to Maine from the Boston area where she worked at Harvard Business School's gym, Shad Hall, as well as an independent private school; coaching middle and high school lacrosse, and working as the fitness director and strength coach. Caroline enjoys summers out on the water with her husband, Sean, and running after their two kiddos, Cooper and Rhett.

Lauren Albaum

Lauren is a local to Boothbay, competing for BRHS in track and cross country in her high school years. Racewalking was Laurens specialty from an early age through her early 20’s. Lauren competed internationally as an elite racewalker for 10 years, racing in two Olympic trials as well as winning many national championships! While she is retired from racewalking competitively she still enjoys helping coach athletes of all ages in racewalking and running. Lauren has taught group fitness on and off for the last 10 years but recently started offering Personal Training sessions (NASM certified )and teaching cycle and cycle bootcamp at the Y ! She loves good music and a fun vibe in all her classes! She is mom to Lillian, 6, and Carter, 4, as well as a menagerie of household pets and chickens. She also works alongside her mom at About Face Skin Care Salon in Damariscotta! Lauren and her husband John like to take the kids on the boat and enjoy every bit that Maine has to offer!

Emma Gay

Emma is an Athletic Trainer with over 10 years of experience in collegiate, high school, and professional athletics. She has a BS in Athletic Training from Boston University, an MS in Athletic Training from the University of Kentucky, and is a licensed Athletic Trainer in Maine. She completed her residency training at Boston University in Orthopedics and Diagnostics. She specializes in low back and hip pain and is passionate about patient education and empowerment. Emma is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist!

Nikki Tibbetts

Nikki has been a certified person trainer through ISSA for 9 years, specializing in strength training, circuit training and she loves to talk about all things nutrition!

Abby Jones

Abby holds certifications in Body Pump, Cycling, Step, Pilates, Barre and is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. Abby is always happy to help with equipment, orientations, one-on-one sessions and learn about your fitness goals!
