Harbor Montessori School

At Harbor Montessori School, we provide a nurturing, inclusive environment where children are supported in their emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. Our programs are child-led and process-oriented, allowing each child to grow and learn at their own pace with guidance from caring teachers.

We focus on fostering independence, building self-esteem, and developing strong problem-solving skills in every child.

Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best through play. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and independent discovery. Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and aligned with the Maine Early Learning Standards, while also being responsive to the unique needs of each child.

Daily Experience

• Individual and group activities
• Free exploration and planned learning time
• Teacher-guided interaction and observation

Enrollment Options

• Infants: 6 weeks to 18 months old
• Young Toddlers: 18 months up to 3 years old
• Montessori: 3 years - 5 years
