Rowgatta

Calling all ‘person-powered’ watercraft! Our Rowgatta is held at the beautiful Barters Island location in August each year. This fun 7-mile paddle around scenic Barters Island, featuring an easy, convenient ‘put-in’ and ‘take-out’ at Knickercane Boat Landing.

All proceeds support the YMCA’s Aquatics department, scholarships for our Youth Dolphin Swim Team, free 2nd-grade Learn to Swim initiative, which provides every 2nd-grade student in the Boothbay region with essential water-safety instruction—at no cost—through partnerships with our local elementary schools.
